Cordon Bleu Casserole

This is my FAVORITE dinner.  You are gonna want to try this one!


Cordon Bleu Pasta
Adapted from {Chef In Training}

12 oz penne pasta
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup milk
1 (8oz) block cream cheese
8 oz swiss cheese, shredded
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp onion powder
1-2 chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
6-8 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
1 cup ham, cubed
3/4 cup plain Panko bread crumbs
1 Tbl butter, melted

Directions
Cook pasta according to package directions and drain
In a small pot, heat heavy cream and cream cheese over medium low heat
Whisk together until  cheese is melted
Stir in garlic salt and onion powder
Add shredded swiss
Again, whisk together until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth
In a 9x13 pan place noodles, chicken, ham and bacon
Pour sauce over top and lightly stir
In a small bowl or ziploc bag mix bread crumbs with butter
Sprinkle top with bread crumbs
Bake at 375 for 20 minutes until heated through and top is light brown

These really sound great but it would be nice if someone would put how many people they serve.

WOW, what a terrific & easy recipe! My family & I love Chicken Cordon Bleu, but it takes quite a bit of time to make the 'original' version. This recipe is much easier & quicker, so I plan to make it sometime this week (after I go grocery shopping.) I'm absolutely sure that my family will rave about it, and it sure sounds pretty scrumptious to me!

This recipe can serve about 6-8 people.

glad I saw the post about how many servings this makes. There are only two of us and we only want so many leftovers. I think to cut it in half would be plenty for two with some leftover.

also my two cents - I think you could probably use all half n half in place of using milk & cream .
